Hosting is a partnership between organisations, whereby one company (the sponsor) funds the Learnership programme, and the other company (the host) provides the workplace facility. The benefits to the employer (sponsor) would be in the form of B-BBEE Skills Development absorption points and potential talent pool creation post Learnership. The benefit to the host company would be in the form of sponsored operational resources.
