Key experience and qualifications:
Matric
Diploma / degree - Finance / Accounting
5 years' back office experience within financial services / asset management firm, leading a team, stakeholder management
Broad understanding of fund accounting, reconciliation systems / processes and procedures
Great track record - all reference checks will be conducted upfront
Clear background checks - all checks will be conducted upfront

Use the relevant recon tool to reconcile client to custody / third party for all funds

Collect and upload statements: unit trusts, fixed deposits, SWAPS, futures and notice deposits

Responsible for mapping and exceptions: Funds, 3rd party and securities
Provide monthly confirmations
System training
Identify trends and offer recommendations
Constantly develop the trend cycle
