Now Hiring: Credit Vetting Consultant / Universal Banker – Johannesburg (Contract 3-6 months')

If you hold a BCom in Finance, Accounting, or Economics and have proven experience within one of South Africa’s top-tier banks, this is your opportunity to shine.

Your Role As a Credit Vetting Consultant / Universal Banker, you will:

?? Evaluate and vet credit applications with precision and sound judgement
?? Assist clients with personal and business credit applications
?? Conduct affordability assessments and risk analysis
?? Interpret financial statements and credit bureau reports
?? Provide tailored financial solutions and product recommendations
?? Ensure full compliance with banking regulations and internal credit policies
?? Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships

Minimum Requirements:

• BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics

• Must have worked at one of South Africa’s top banks, such as:

  • Standard Bank

  • First National Bank

  • Absa

  • Nedbank

• Strong credit assessment and risk management experience

• Excellent analytical and financial interpretation skills

• Exceptional client service and communication abilities

• High level of integrity and regulatory awareness

• Clear credit record
• Available to start immediately on a contract of 3 - 6 months'
• Reliable transport as there is shift work (8:00 - 17:00 / 9:00 - 18:00 / 10:00 - 19:00)
• Willing to work weekdays and alternatively on Saturdays / Public holidays
